2012

February 1, 2012 2:29 pm

Well Hill has been fired, will be revitalized with the Falcons and we have our new coach. Any predictions on what will transpire for our football team in 2012? Will his first year be like Coach Terry's first year with the hoops team or did we really underplay below our talent level and we were better that our record in 2011 showed.

Pat Hill

January 13, 2011 6:17 pm

Is there anyone out there that believe that Pat Hill can take the Bulldogs to where Boise State and the Horny Frogs have gone? I still don't know exactly how Boise surpassed us and left us in the dust. California has more players in the pros than any other state and that includes TexAss, yet we lose players from out home state to Nevada, Boise, and I wonder how many other mid majors. The age of the old drop back style Q.B. is coming to an end, will Hill have a Q.B. that is mobile, and accurate? I thought Hill should have resigned back in 2008, but Fresno seems to be satisfied with mediocre 8 and 4 records and the like. Hey, if Boise and T.C.U. can do it then so can we.

2010 Class

February 4, 2010 5:47 pm

FYI - Don't sleep on this years class, and the contributions they will make next fall.  The bulldogs lose a lot on offense, however, they will make it up, at least in the passing game.

All three wide-outs coming in, Sean Alston, Victor Dean, and Joshua Harper, are all solid wide-outs with a ton of talent and upside.  Sounds like I'm stretching but I'm not. With the loss of Seyi, Miller, Matthews and possibly West, this class should be able to come in play immediately.

Any thoughts?

Is this Pat Hill's last year?

September 1, 2009 1:38 pm

I like what Pat has done with the program but it has plateaud and started to decline. Granted there will be a in-experienced QB this year but they need to score alot more, and in different ways. The defense needs to make some turnovers and do something positive.

If the team finishes 5-7 or worse we should be looking for a new coach.

What do you think?
